Lita was one of those first people who said, ‘you don’t have to be a Barbie Doll to be a WWE Diva in this era of wrestling’. […] She opened the doors for a lot of opportunities, and made it realistic that you didn’t have to look a certain way to be a Diva. I know, still to this day, they’re trying to open those doors - but years ago, she did a great job in helping a lot of women, and I know there are a lot of women who looked up to her. She had a lot of those little girl fans, and I think that was always cool.
