“You know, I know that none of you ever thought I would be the World Champion. None of you had any faith in me. None of you thought I had the ability. None of you thought I had what it took, but guess what… I proved you all wrong.” 17/2/12

Lita was one of those first people who said, ‘you don’t have to be a Barbie Doll to be a WWE Diva in this era of wrestling’. […] She opened the doors for a lot of opportunities, and made it realistic that you didn’t have to look a certain way to be a Diva. I know, still to this day, they’re trying to open those doors - but years ago, she did a great job in helping a lot of women, and I know there are a lot of women who looked up to her. She had a lot of those little girl fans, and I think that was always cool.

Before this PPV aired, I said that I was relying on it to bring me out of the bad mood I’ve been in all day.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED :’)

Look at that man.

LOOK AT HIM.

I can’t believe it happened. DICKBUTT IS THE WORLD FUCKING CHAMPION

That Superkick was insane. If I hadn’t been on the receiving end of it, and was just watching at home, I’d probably say: ‘That was freaking awesome.’ The following week on TV, Shawn complimented me on the match, and that meant a lot. He’s The Showstopper, so for one of my matches to be considered among his best is a big honor for me. And I’d love to do it again.

When Shelton climbed into the ring, I told him he was winning the match with his finish. He had to suppress a smile as he heard what Vince wanted.
